Kenya conjures up all that is Africa: colourful tribe culture, the Big Five, deserts, mountains and golden beaches.
Travel to Amboseli National Park in the north of the country to see herds of elephants with the distinctive silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Visit Lake Nakuru National Park to be amazed by the millions of pink flamingos who call the saline lake home and for a chance to spot leopards and white rhino coming to drink at its shores.
The Masai Mara Game Reserve is the most well known national park in Kenya, and for good reason: covering such a large area, the reserve gives travellers the best chance to spot lions and cheetahs. The other highlight is witnessing the majestic annual wildebeest migration, where millions of these animals travel through the Mara.
