Day 1: Arusha/Materuni Waterfalls. Overnight at Arumeru river lodge
Day 2: Arusha/Arusha National Park. Overnight at Arumeru river lodge
Day 3: Arusha/Tarangire National Park. Overnight at Tarangire Simba lodge.
Day 4: Tarangire/Lake Manyara National Park. Overnight at Acacia farm lodge.
Day 5: Drive to Lake Eyasi basin for full day cultural tour with Tatoga and hadzabe. Overnight at Acacia farm lodge
Day 6: Karatu/Ndutu plain/Serengeti National Park. Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis camp.
Day 7: Full day in Serengeti National Park. Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis camp.
Day 8: Serengeti/Ngorongoro crater rim. Ngorongoro Serena lodge.
Day 9: Ngorongoro crater floor/Arusha
Day 1: Arusha/Materuni Waterfalls
Early breakfast in the morning you will make your way to Kilimanjaro area for walking tour at materuni waterfalls for half day. You will be walking through the banana farms and coffee plantation as well you will get the chance of learning and preparing coffee. You will be seeing the Kilimanjaro mountain very close by you but it depends with the weather. Visit some local chagga tribe in the area, taste their local brew made from ripe banana. Lean their culture etc. Late in the afternoon you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight
Day 2: Arusha/Arusha National Park
Only in Arusha Park you can go walking in the jungle and enjoy wildlife closely. Pick up in the morning from your overnight hotel then drive to Arusha national park. In the park you will do a walking Tour. The walking Tour is assisted by an armed ranger and you will be able to see a variety of wildlife closer. This is a national park so expect to see many animal very close by you but you should not afraid as the guided armed ranger will be with you all the time. Lunch is picnic at Jikukumia waterfalls. After lunch walk back to the gate and get into the jeep for game driving in the park visiting the 7 Momella lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. Later in the evening drive to planet lodge for dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 3: Arusha/Tarangire National Park
Early breakfast then our driver will meet you at your hotel then pack your luggage’s ready for your drive to Tarangire, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Full day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000 foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. Late this afternoon you’ll arrive at your lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your first night in the bush. Dinner and overnight at simba tented camp.
Day 4: Tarangire/Lake Manyara National Park
Early breakfast before you drive drive in Lake manyara national park. Lake Manyara National Park which is among Tanzania’s smallest park. Drive through the lush garden is a gentle reminder that you are now in Africa. Exotic birdcalls fill the air. Enjoy a picnic lunch and afterwards you’ll continue game viewing of animals in the park. Zebra, wildebeest, bushbuck, dik-dik and guinea fowl regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Lake which is home of thousand of Flamingos and River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. More game till lunch time and after lunch you will drive our of the Park for a cultural and walking tour at Mto wa mbu village. In the evening if time allows you can enjoy a hike up through rift valley escarpment wall before you drive to karatu for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at acacia farm lodge.
Day 5: Drive to Lake Eyasi basin for full day cultural tour with Tatoga and hadzabe.
In the morning after an early breakfast you will make your way to Lake eyasi bushmen’s village for cultural interaction with the Tatoga tribe and hunting expedition with the bushmen (Hadzabe) (a very interesting tribe). Our Tatoga guide at the village will lead the tour. In the evening you will drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Karatu/Ndutu plain/Serengeti National Park
Early breakfast at 5:40am before you leave with sunrise en route to Ndutu area for your full day migration tour. A day drive in the plains teeming with hundreds of thousands wildebeest. Game drives around Lake Ndutu area before you drive to the Serengeti Park for dinner and overnight. (This is very special day for your safaris. Migrations of wildebeests are among the best event to spot in your visit to Tanzania).
Day 7: Full day in Serengeti National Park
Full days ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards and lions. Mostly you will go out for sunrise game drive at 0600am followed by b/fast at 0830am. More game drive till Lunch time (Hot lunch). After your hot lunch you will proceed with your afternoon game drive to sunset whereby you will drive back for dinner and overnight and Serengeti Tortilis tented camp.
Day 8: Serengeti/Ngorongoro crater rim
Sunrise game drives start at 06:00am till 11:00am. When you’ll stop for Brunch (Breakfast and lunch put together) After Brunch departs for the Ngorongoro Crater with game drive en-route. On the way you have some option, you can visit some maasai village OR olduvai gorge. These will cost you extra. Dinner and Overnight at lodge.
Day 8: Ngorongoro crater floor/Arusha
Rise early for breakfast before you spend a fully day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water or east prey. In the evening descend out of the crater and drive back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport for your flight back home.
